Our purpose is to raise funds to support projects related to the eradication of human trafficking. These funds will be allocated to support and educate our state’s law enforcement officials, legal aids, health service providers and the community at large about how to recognize victims of Human Trafficking and connect them to resources for safety and recovery. As part of this effort, we will help to implement training initiatives, protocols and create successful statewide collaborations between agencies to ensure that victims of trafficking and abuse will get the help and resources they desperately need. Monies will also be designated for our documentary film on Human Trafficking. This film is designed to raise awareness about the crippling effects of Sex Trafficking, reeducate the public about who is being trafficked, help to dispel the damaging effects of the stigmas associated with the victims and put an end to this systemic cycle of exploitation. If we can initiate changes locally, we hope to make an impact globally.
